Would you like to create a home-life that is calmer and easier?
Would you like to learn new ways to be the parent you really want to be?
Rowan Perkin has developed practical, fun and informative coaching support techniques to help you transform your family life. Whether you are a new parent or have children in their teens, there are tools and techniques that can help you.
Parents want to do the best they can for their children, but sometimes family life can be challenging and difficult. There is after all, no one right way to parent.
In the UK there are over 24 million people who parent – it’s not just mums and dads who do it.
Families come in all shapes and sizes.
Grandparents, stepparents, brothers, sisters, other relatives, friends and foster carers are all involved in raising happy, healthy children.
- Coaching is about action, achievement and solving problems
- Coaching is not therapy, counselling, mentoring or advising
- Coaching believes that the client has all the answers they need and the skill of the coach is to bring out the best solutions from the client
- Coaching is completely confidential and non-judgemental

If I had my child to raise over again
If I had my child to raise all over again,
I'd build self-esteem first,
and the house later.
I'd finger-paint more,
and point the finger less.
I would do less correcting
and more connecting.
I'd take my eyes off my watch
and watch with my eyes.
I would care to know less
and know to care more.
I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.
I'd stop playing serious,
and seriously play.
I would run through more fields
and gaze at more stars.
I'd do more hugging
and less tugging.
I would be firm less often,
and affirm much more.
I'd model less about the love of power,
And more about the power of Love.
